Please read these terms carefully before using our services

DacoXpress Shipping

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using any service provided by DacoXpress Shipping, the customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. By proceeding with our services, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full. Continued use of our services constitutes ongoing acceptance.

2. Scope of Services

DacoXpress Shipping provides courier and logistics services, including but not limited to:

  • Shipping services from the USA to Jamaica

  • Air and/or sea freight shipping (where available)

  • Package handling, processing, and delivery coordination

  • Local delivery and designated pickup services

  • Customer rewards, referral programs, and loyalty points

  • Delivery via third-party courier partners where applicable

DacoXpress Shipping reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service without prior notice.

3. Shipping Schedule

Shipping schedules vary and are estimates only. Delays may occur due to customs processing, carrier schedules, weather conditions, inspections, or other factors beyond our control.

4. Service Areas

DacoXpress Shipping provides delivery and pickup services in:

  • Guys Hill

  • Gayle

  • Ocho Rios

  • St. Ann's Bay

  • Highgate

Delivery outside these areas may be facilitated through third-party courier services at the customer’s expense.

5. Responsibility, Risk & Liability

All shipments are transported at the customer’s own risk.

DacoXpress Shipping assumes limited liability for loss, damage, delay, or shipment errors.

Responsibility begins once the package is received by our warehouse or representative and ends when:

  • Delivered to the customer

  • Transferred to a third-party courier

  • Handed over to customs authorities

We are not responsible for:

  • Vendor or retailer errors

  • Incorrect information provided by customers

  • Packages lost before reaching our facility

  • Delays or damages caused by third parties

6. Packaging & Fragile Items

DacoXpress Shipping is not responsible for damage caused by insufficient packaging by vendors or senders.

Fragile items (electronics, glass, liquids, cosmetics, breakables, etc.) are shipped entirely at the customer’s risk.

7. Prohibited & Restricted Items

Customers must ensure all shipments comply with Jamaican and international laws.

Prohibited items include but are not limited to:

  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances

  • Firearms, weapons, or ammunition

  • Explosives or hazardous materials

  • Counterfeit goods

  • Pornographic or obscene materials

  • Perishable foods

  • Live animals

  • Cash or negotiable instruments

Prohibited items may be confiscated without refund, and DacoXpress Shipping assumes no liability.

8. Customs, Duties & Fees

Customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and government charges.

DacoXpress Shipping is not liable for customs delays, inspections, or additional charges imposed by authorities.

9. Referral Reward Program

DacoXpress Shipping offers a referral incentive:

  • The referring customer receives $300 reward credit once the referred customer spends at least $3,400 on shipping services.

  • Rewards are issued as account credit unless otherwise stated.

  • Referral rewards are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • The company reserves the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time.

10. Loyalty Points System

Customers earn points on qualifying transactions.

  • Points accumulate based on shipping activity.

  • 1,000 points = $10 reward value.

  • Points may only be redeemed toward shipping services unless otherwise specified.

  • Points cannot be exchanged for cash and may expire at the company’s discretion.

11. Payments

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Cash

  • Bank transfer

  • Online payment options (where available)

All payments must be completed before shipment release or processing. Payments are generally non-refundable once services begin.

12. Claims & Complaints

Claims must be submitted in writing within 72 hours of package receipt or notification.

Supporting documentation may include:

  • Invoice copies

  • Photos of damage

  • Shipment details

WhatsApp or verbal complaints alone do not constitute official claims.

13. Storage & Uncollected Packages

Packages not collected within a specified period may incur storage fees.

Uncollected packages may eventually be disposed of, donated, or auctioned to recover costs. Customers remain responsible for outstanding balances.

14. Amendments

DacoXpress Shipping reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between DacoXpress Shipping and the customer and supersede all prior communications or agreements.
